  • Alerts for connectivity, obstruction and latency now fire even while the window is minimised, hidden, or was never opened; they no longer depend on the interface running.
  • Router trends backfill at full one-second resolution after time in the tray, so hidden periods look identical to watched ones.
  • On launch, the app imports the dish’s own recent history, so charts include the minutes before you opened it and short gaps between runs fill themselves in.
  • Latency charts, in the live views, archive and the PDF report, draw an average line over a min-max band, so real trends stay readable instead of vanishing into jitter.
  • Maps are rebuilt on crisp vector rendering served from our own servers: they stay sharp at every zoom level, show place names in your language, and no longer depend on a third party.

Improved

  • The interface goes idle when minimised to the tray, cutting background activity to almost nothing while recording, alerts and ping monitoring continue in full.
  • Session summaries are computed from the recorded data at the moment you stop, so saved statistics always match the charts, including for sessions recorded while minimised, and retroactively for previously saved ones.
  • Swapping between terminals is now seamless end to end: every panel, chart, alert and record follows the connected dish, each dish and router keeps its own history, and the router panel reconnects as fast as the hardware allows.
  • Charts refresh at the rate data actually arrives, with point density tuned for readability across every time range.

Fixed

  • Telemetry sampling no longer stalls when ping targets are unreachable; previously a dead target could cost up to a fifth of recorded samples.
  • Ping monitoring pauses while the terminal is offline instead of recording your fallback connection’s figures as Starlink history.
  • The archive shows your full recorded history instead of stopping at the data-retention window.
  • Returning from the tray no longer runs chart rebuilds twice, and no longer collapses the archive view to the last 15 minutes.
  • Router trends no longer show gaps after the window has been hidden, radio temperatures display an honest empty state on routers that stopped reporting them, and one router’s temperatures can no longer appear on another’s chart.
  • Daily hardware-insights snapshots are tracked per terminal, so using two dishes on the same day no longer suppresses one of them.
  • The session route map now opens at your location, keeps its quality colours readable in light mode, and centres on sessions recorded at a single spot instead of showing the whole world.

  • Redesigned session report: the PDF is now an installer-grade document. Alongside the telemetry summary it adds an Assessment page that grades the installation against typical healthy ranges (obstruction, latency, drop rate, dish alignment and the event log), an Obstruction & Alignment page with the dish’s own sky-view map, a Diagnostics appendix logging any ping, DNS and traceroute checks run during the session, and a Methodology page explaining how every figure is measured.
  • Report export options: before generating a report you can now choose its type (Installation Verification, Diagnostic Visit or Site Survey) and record who it was prepared by (your name and company) and prepared for (the customer). Your installer details are remembered for next time.
  • The redesigned report and its export options are fully translated across all 36 supported languages.

Improved

  • Session report charts now render with clean, consistent scales: value axes step evenly from zero and the time axis lines up across every chart.
  • Full-screen charts are now capped at a readable size instead of stretching to fill the whole window.
  • If your setup has no Starlink router (for example a dish in bypass mode behind your own router), Nexus now remembers when you choose to continue without one, so it no longer pauses on the router check at every launch. There’s a matching “This network has no Starlink router” switch in Network settings, and router features switch back on automatically if a Starlink router is detected later.
  • The Network tab under the Terminal view now runs its connectivity checks automatically when you open it, instead of showing empty “pending” rows until you press Run.
  • Hovering an icon in the left navigation rail now shows a tooltip naming the view, along with its keyboard shortcut.
  • The Ping tool now shows your device’s result as soon as it’s ready instead of waiting for the slower router path: the router column fills in when its measurement completes.

Fixed

  • Session recordings now stop automatically at the selected duration (e.g. 30 minutes) instead of continuing to run.
  • Speed-test readings in the PDF report now exactly match the session markers shown in the app.
  • Expanding a live chart to full screen during a recording no longer switches it to session data: the live and session views stay independent.
  • The full-screen session chart now shows the whole recording (it previously dropped data older than five minutes) and keeps the start and speed-test markers in view.
  • The product name now reads “Nexus Telemetry Pro” consistently across the report and trial and licence messages.
  • The update panel’s version badge is now legible in light mode and its release notes display in full.
  • Live telemetry no longer slows to an update every ~10 seconds on networks without a Starlink router: it now refreshes at your chosen interval (0.5 to 5 seconds) again.
  • Delete and clear buttons now work throughout the app: removing a custom ping target or marker, deleting an iPerf server, and clearing test history or debug logs previously did nothing on some systems. Each now asks for confirmation first.
  • Renaming or re-addressing a custom ping target updates its row straight away instead of leaving a duplicate or stale entry, and deleting one removes it immediately.
  • IPv6 now works in the Ping and Trace tools and for custom ping targets, in all the usual formats: a plain address (2606:4700:4700::1111), a bracketed address ([2606:4700:4700::1111]), or an IPv6-only hostname (ipv6.google.com). These previously failed on macOS.
  • The alerts banner on the Live view now clears once you’ve opened the Alerts page, and returns only when a new event occurs.

  • Session recording now offers a 30-minute duration, alongside the existing 1-hour and longer options, for shorter monitoring runs.

Improved

  • Speed test results now match the download and upload charts exactly: the reading is taken from the same live telemetry the graphs are drawn from, and the marker sits right on the spike instead of drifting into the gap after the test.
  • The Starlink GPS notice in Geolocation settings now explains clearly that dish GPS is available on Priority plans, and points you to an external GPS receiver or setting your location manually on the map.

  • The About panel now shows your terminal and router firmware versions: previously they were blank.
  • Fixed a rare issue that could start duplicate background data collectors.

  • Welcome screen: Now scrolls when content exceeds the window height, and Ctrl+/-/0 zoom shortcuts work immediately on launch. Previously, large system text scaling could clip the continue button out of reach.
  • First-run dialogs: Licensing, analytics, and hardware consent dialogs now scroll internally when content is taller than the window, so buttons stay reachable at any text scale.
  • Linux AppImage: App-grid shortcut now points at the AppImage file itself rather than a temporary mount path, so relaunching from GNOME works across sessions. Also refreshes automatically if the AppImage is moved.
